Marian Lippa began her legal career in 1995 while working both as a law clerk within law firms and as an independent Paralegal. She holds several credentials in these fields and has worked extensively in the areas of law concerning Corporate, Real Estate, Criminal, Civil Litigation, Provincial Offences, Highway Traffic and Landlord and Tenant.
She was formerly a Director of the Paralegal Society of Ontario and the Ontario Paralegal Association and is still a member. She was a law instructor in Paralegal education from 2005 to 2007 and continues to be a guest speaker at several different colleges and Law Society of Ontario Continuing Education programs as well as mentor to Paralegals.
Marian was elected as a bencher of the Law Society of Ontario in 2014 and appointed as an adjudicator to the Law Society Tribunal in the same year. She challenged the Ontario Court of Justice and stood up for Paralegal respect as advocates and their rights to be acknowledged as Officers of the Court R. v. Lippa 2013.
